Dr.
Helinski is a board certified internist with a special
interest in cosmetic dermatology. She has worked in a
variety of clinical settings including general and plastic
surgery while employed as a Physician's Assistant during
graduate and medical school at the University of Maryland.
After
completing a residency in internal medicine at the University
of Maryland Hospital, Dr. Helinski worked in emergency
room medicine and then joined Johns Hopkins Medical Systems
for private practice. She also served as a clinical
instructor for the Johns Hopkins medical residency program.
Dr.
Helinski is currently employed at an urgent care center
and treats both pediatric and adult patients for acute
medical problems. She is a member of the Alpha
Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society and the American College
of Physicians.
